LOCAL DEVELOPMENT

TS Constructions NT has a strong commitment to returning value to the NT community through employment and training development for Territorians. All staff are encouraged to take opportunities to enhance their skills and to gain higher level qualifications and additional experience.

In addition, TS Constructions NT has a purchase local policy which sources local supplies and suppliers wherever possible and appropriate to the job.

TS Constructions NT employs 47 Territorians, of whom 34 are qualified, 4 apprentices and 5 trainees.

This employee base provides the capacity to commit to and complete new projects regardless of our current commitments.  To ensure project plans are met, the company employs 5 Project Managers and 7 Site Supervisors with the capacity to handle multiple projects and has CAL accreditation to the value of $ 2 million plus.

We proudly support local Schools, sporting clubs, teams and charities, investing a large amount each year in the local community through sponsorship and donations.

INDIGENOUS COMMITMENT

TS Constructions NT is committed to assisting Indigenous Territorians in obtaining the experience, skills and knowledge they need to gain and maintain secure, full time employment in the construction industry.

We have developed an internal Indigenous Mentoring Program (IMP), using our current highly-skilled full time workforce.

The IMP assists our trainee Indigenous employees with understanding and overcoming any cultural, literacy or numeracy issues that may arise onsite. We provide this support through a one-on-one approach, to ensure that appropriate, dedicated assistance is given to our new trainees.
